Rick and Emma's history goes back well-before The Wolford Conrad group was founded. As members of the same church, Rick has known Emma since she was young. Shared faith, a desire to serve others, and a common understanding of the clients that our team serves has become the forefront of our approach to helping families in Charleston and beyond. These shared core values coupled with our different life experiences set us up to be a great team. Diversity of experience allows us to approach problems with a different perspective but yet keep a common goal.

Rick's career in this industry began in the 1990s with Hilliard Lyons, a firm that merged with Baird in 2019. Emma's career started with a wealth management firm's office in Los Angeles after receiving her degree in Economics. Emma's desire to come back home to West Virginia and Rick's insightful desire to create a diverse team to better serve his clients led to an ideal partnership. Their partnership originated before the transition to Baird, but we feel that Baird's support really elevated our ability to serve our clients.

Outside of helping clients, Rick and Emma also share a leadership role for several local branches. Rick has served as a Branch Manager for decades, and Emma recently joined him on this front too - becoming the Assistant Branch Manager for the branches Rick serves.

Our goal is to give our clients peace of mind as they tackle the financial side of life's greatest decisions - from marriage to retirement, from grieving losses to adding family members, we are here to help you navigate the ups and downs of life.
